You Don't Like Clean Water, Do You?

Do you remember the scene in Back to the Future III where Marty is having dinner with his relatives after he arrives in 1885, and he is given a glass of water to drink?  He is appalled at the brown color of it and stares unbelieving at the glass.  If I remember the scene correctly, Seamus is proud of the water.

I am glad that I do not have to drink dirty water.  Clean water is in plentiful supply right out of my faucet.  I can drink it by itself or mix it with a myriad of drink mixes.  I don't have to worry about drinking water that has been contaminated by feces.  I don't have to worry about contacting cholera and having intestinal pain, severe diarrhea, vomiting, and worrying about death by dehydration, as people do in Haiti right now with the start of the rainy season.
